Dave W. Odell, CPA*

Dave W. Odell, CPA*  President & CEO

Mr. Odell leads finance and partnership management for MedBridge. In addition, he is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of TynanGroup, Inc. He has successfully managed TynanGroup’s double-digit growth, leading to the firm’s recognition by Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest growing companies in America. Prior to TynanGroup, Mr. Odell was with a private accounting firm serving a broad spectrum of planning, audit, and tax clients. Mr. Odell holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Westmont College and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Ruth Loomer

Ruth Loomer  Executive Vice President & Chief of Staff

As Executive Vice President and Chief of Staff, Ms. Loomer mentors, guides and shapes MedBridge’s culture and people, ensuring that our staff has what they need to succeed. She oversees and manages MedBridges growing physician practice engagements, and lends her expertise to the leaders in the organization. Prior to MedBridge, Ms. Loomer spent ten years working in mid-level management for a national non-profit organization. Ms. Loomer holds a Bachelor of Science degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and a Master of Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary.

Steve B. Schott

Steve B. Schott  Principal

Mr. Schott brings strong experience with physician relations, partnership management and legal affairs to the MedBridge executive team. With over forty years of management experience across a variety of industries, he is a valuable resource to MedBridge’s Bay Area directors. In addition, he is the Founder and Managing Member of West Beach Investments, LLC, an investment, development, management, and consulting company. Mr. Schott earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Iowa, and a Juris Doctorate from Drake University.

Scott Douglas

Scott Douglas  Director of Development

Mr. Douglas oversees the development of MedBridge projects. With over 20 years in the construction industry, he has extensive knowledge of managing the development process from design to construction. In addition to medical facilities, he has also completed institutional, hospitality and restaurant projects. Mr. Douglas holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Westmont College and a Masters of Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary.

Audrey Dunlop

General Manager

Audrey Dunlop

Ms. Dunlop is responsible for managing MedBridge’s Santa Barbara-based team. She oversees team performance, staff development and training, customer service, external relations, and assists with business development. Prior to her role as General Manager, Ms. Dunlop worked with MedBridge for over 8 years in a variety of roles including; accounting, patient care, surgery center development and licensure/accreditation, supervising nursing staff, partner relations, HR and surgery scheduler coordination. Ms. Dunlop holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Business from Westmont College.

Caleb Rhoads

Director of Financial Services & Controller

Caleb Rhoads

Mr. Rhoads ensures that all MedBridge operations run smoothly. He oversees the departments within our financial services core, including patient services, billing, accounting, and accounts receivable. In addition, Mr. Rhoads has served as MedBridge’s Controller for the past 5 years where he brings tremendous fiscal oversight and implements critical protocol and processes. Mr. Rhoads holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Business from Westmont College.

Patty Harrison

Patty Harrison

Ms. Harrison oversees the clinical operations for the Southern California centers. She is responsible for achieving and maintaining all accreditation and certification standards for each center. Her expertise and knowledge lies in project development and business advancements in the surgical arena. With over 10 years of nursing and management experience, she guides each of the centers to achieve excellence in healthcare standards and quality patient care. Ms. Harrison has successfully managed and operated medical outpatient and surgical centers, with a collaborative approach among staff and surgeons. Ms. Harrison received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Linfield College in Portland, Oregon and her Master of Nursing degree from Washington State University.

Asley Nagaoka

Billing & Accounts Receivable Manager

Asley Nagaoka

Ms. Nagaoka supervises the daily operations of MedBridge’s billing and accounts receivable department. She ensures that our clients receive maximized reimbursements with the highest quality documentation and medical records. The department is committed to continually increasing insurance collections for our clients by being experts in account management. Ms. Nagaoka upholds this commitment by bringing her extensive understanding of insurance collections and insurance contracts to the team. She also maintains accurate and efficient resources for the entire company to ensure that all employees have the knowledge and tools to excel. Ms. Nagaoka holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from UC Santa Barbara and a Masters of Business Administration from California Lutheran University.

Jill Deering

Jill Deering

Ms. Deering is a California attorney who is responsible for leading corporate strategic and legal initiatives, ensuring compliance with all state and federal laws, providing management oversight, and advising on all legal related matters.  Ms. Deering also manages a variety of projects for MedBridge including real estate acquisitions, private ventures, and new service offerings.  She was admitted to the California State Bar in 2009 and spent five years in private practice before joining MedBridge.  Ms. Deering holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from University of the Pacific and a Juris Doctorate degree from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.

Robert Janeway

Robert Janeway

With an extensive knowledge of the revenue cycle management process and surgical reimbursement, Mr. Janeway ensures that payor contracts are up-to-date achieving the highest possible returns for our clients. He provides MedBridge with insight on key industry changes, targets strategic analytics, and maintains relationships with our service partners and administrators – allowing MedBridge to better serve our physicians and facilities. Mr. Janeway holds a Bachelor of Arts from UC Santa Barbara.

Lisa Skvarla

Lisa Skvarla

Ms. Skvarla is responsible for the oversight of human resources and staffing for MedBridge and its managed clients. Working alongside the MedBridge management team and ASC administrators, she develops and manages staffing plans, employee benefits, payroll, compliance, and employee-employer relationships. Ms. Skvarla holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from UC Santa Barbara in Communication Studies and a Masters of Arts in Education with an emphasis in Leadership and Organizations.

Eligin Seson, BSN RN

With over 6 years of experience in nursing, Mr. Seson has spent the majority of his career in a surgical setting for both adult and pediatric patients. Mr. Seson assists the Director of Clinical services with managing each of MedBridge’s managed centers.  Originally from southern California, Mr. Seson received his Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree in Baguio City, Philippines.

With over 10 years of experience in clinical patient care and ASC business practices, Mr. Noel brings an in-depth approach to supply chain management for MedBridge managed clients. As Enterprise Materials Manager he is responsible for identifying, capturing, and controlling cost savings for supplies and services rendered on a comprehensive scale. Leveraging the aggregated buying power of our clients, Mr. Noel works with GPO’s, vendors and medical device manufacturers to ensure healthy, cost efficient relationships are maintained for all of our managed centers.

Alyssa Baker

Alyssa Baker

Ms. Baker oversees the patient services team in handling patient relationships and payment responsibilities. Ms. Baker ensures the completion of all patient requests, disputes or questions, as well as generating patient statements, running client aging reports, and maintaining accurate patient account balances. Her department works to assist patients in understanding their insurance benefits and responsibilities. Ms. Baker holds a Bachelor’s in Political Science from Gordon College.

Shannon Leal

Ms. Leal is responsible for the supervision of all staff accountants, bookkeeping and clerical services. With a detailed understanding of financial operations, Ms. Leal oversees the creation and maintenance of all financial documents, payroll records, banking and data processing. Ms. Leal holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Business from Westmont College.

Dr. Halbrecht is an orthopaedic surgeon in private practice in San Francisco. He is a graduate of Columbia University and New York University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at the Hospital for Joint Diseases Orthopaedic Institute in New York. Dr. Halbrecht is an active member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine. He is also a master instructor in arthroscopic surgery at the Orthopaedic Learning Center in Rosemont, Illinois, and held a position on the Editorial Board of Arthroscopy: The Journal of Arthroscopic and Related Surgery.

Dr. Phelps is a graduate of University of Michigan and University of Michigan Medical School. He completed his fellowship in surgery of the hand at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Dr. Phelps was Assistant Professor of Surgery at University of Colorado for two years before moving to Santa Barbara, California, to enter private practice in 1978. Dr. Phelps is the former President of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand.

Dr. Phelps is a graduate of University of Michigan and University of Michigan Medical School. He completed his fellowship in surgery of the hand at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Dr. Wolf is a graduate of the University of Bordeaux School of Medicine in France and completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the National Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Hospital in Arlington, Virginia. He is internationally recognized for his pioneering work in the development of arthroscopic surgical techniques for the knee and shoulder. He is an active presenter and lecturer in the Arthroscopy Association of North America and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a Master Instructor in Arthroscopic Surgery at the Orthopaedic Learning Center in Rosemont, Illinois. Dr. Wolf also serves as director of the California Pacific Shoulder Arthroscopy Fellowship Program at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco.
